Summer 2010

          “You have not chosen Me,
               but I have chosen you

I guess you can say that the summer of 2010 has changed our lives.  Sometimes we really think we know what God has planned for our lives and we realize very quickly how far off we are.  His plans are greater than ours.  We planned to go to Iceland this summer on a family vacation to visit Kimberly's parents and  see the sights but it seems God had a much bigger plan for us.  We both felt strongly that we should go on this trip. Kimberly even said she felt that God spoke to her and said, "This trip will change your life." We talked and thought that it may be our last time to visit Iceland and thought we better soak up the experience.  The weather was beautiful, the people were amazing and our hearts were open.  During the two weeks while in Iceland we both felt separately a move in our spirit about leaving our life in Texas and coming to Iceland to work as Missionary Associates. Thinking this was our last trip to Iceland when we arrived we left Iceland knowing we had been forever changed.
