Happy New Year

                  The Bohon’s January Update 2012
In December, we were able to finalize the required documents and submit our paperwork to apply for our residential VISA with the Icelandic government. We are currently waiting to hear back from the Icelandic Immigration office.
We are so excited to let everyone know that we are currently at 90% of our budget.  That is amazing news, and we are blessed with the best support team anyone could ask for.  We believe that by the time the final approval comes, our budget will be raised and we can then ask for financial clearance from our missions’ board and set a departure date.  There is still so much to think about and we are asking for your prayers concerning the following matters:
1.     Please pray that the GOVERNMENT will approve our VISA to live in Iceland.
2.     We need to RENT our house and are praying for quality renters in His timing.
3.     The CAR that we were going to use in Iceland isn’t an option so we need a car. (It would be very cold to walk for these Texans but it might be a good diet plan-LOL.)
4.     SHIPPING our belongings – We need wisdom on what to take and how to get it there for the best price.
5.     LUKE  – Please pray for peace in his spirit with so many changes.
6.     And, of course the last 10% of our BUDGET.
We don’t take it lightly when we get the text messages, FB comments, and emails telling us you are praying for us.  It always uplifts our spirits and hearts.  Many times we still feel like Moses and wonder why God called and would choose us, but we know that He didn’t just choose us, He chose our team too.  Thank you for supporting us.  We know everyone one of you had to listen to the voice of God in order for us to be sent.
May God richly bless YOU and our entire team in 2012!
Lots of Love,

 Andy, Kimberly & Luke Bohon

  1. Good Morning Bohons,
I know in my heart that our Father is meeting all these needs in perfect timing. I dreamed of Iceland all last night; I know he loves all His children, even those tucked away at the top of the world who may feel like His radar doesn't even reach that far! He is providing as He opens the streams and rivers, that His Glory may cover the earth as the waters cover the sea! When I awoke, He took me straight to Luke 1:37-38, "For with God, nothing is ever impossible, and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. Then Mary said, 'Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said'". I will be praying in agreement with you both!
